Acupuncture Now Available!
An Acupuncture treatment from a Registered Acupuncturist at Restoration Station (at this time only Jennifer McGeorge R.Ac.) is from the perspective of Classical Chinese Medicine. Simply put: In this approach, which represents thousands of years of a healing art, the body is considered to have energy meridians which correspond with various organs. Within the organs & meridians, there may be problems due to many things such as stagnation, injury, cold, heat, inflammation etc,. The Therapist may need to clear the organ/meridian through various techniques which may include acupuncture, electro-acupucture, tui na (Chinese Massage), cupping, gua sha, moxibustion, diet therapy etc.
The interview process is longer than what you may have experienced with a Massage Therapy treatment so give yourself 2 hours as each treatment is tailored to each individual and the times may vary.

BodyTalk
The body has the ability to heal itself, however this ability is hindered by many factors including physical, emotional, mental, biochemical and environmental stressors. BodyTalk assists the body in remembering how to heal itself.
Health challenges arise for a variety of reasons. As a practitioner, Marian is trained to look at the whole-person emotional, physical and environmental influences, so that the true underlying causes of dis-ease can be revealed.
Every choice and every experience in your life has contributed to your current state of health. Each scar, laugh line, and injury has a unique story and a history.
BodyTalk takes into consideration your whole-story. Your lifestyle, genetics and history are all drawn upon to establish a personalized approach to healthcare that brings about lasting change. Each session is uniquely tailored to your needs.
BodyTalk is cumulative. Your body remembers the BodyTalk session it receives, and your healing process will continue with each additional session you have.

Cranial Sacral Therapy
Cranial Sacral uses light touch to encourage the freedom of movement through the craniosacral system. Cranial Sacral releases tension and restriction in the cranium, spine and associated fascia which allows the body to relax and self-correct. Cranial Sacral can support the body's natural pace and rhythms beneficial for stress management, relaxation, concussion and recovery from injury.

Recently graduating in December 2024 from the Registered Massage Therapist Program at First College in Kelowna, Chris was born and raised in the Okanagan, being active has always been a part of life. Riding bikes as a kid became a passion, racing competitive BMX nationally, evolving to freestyle at a semi- professional level, and eventually to recreational mountain biking on all the trails BC has to offer. Riding bikes can be hard on a body, and significant injury led Chris to a career in helping others in their own recovery.

With a long background in industrial machining, and his own personal recovery from major injuries, Chris has a unique perspective, and each case is specifically patient based using various assessment and therapeutic massage techniques, including myofascial and deep tissue as well as Proprioceptive Neuromuscular Facilitation. There is no denying that sometimes a massage just feels good, and can help get you over the next hurdle too. Chris believes that a full-spectrum approach can provide the greatest benefit and support, working with your existing programs and practices, integrating new ones, and developing a homecare program to maximize and maintain your progress.

You can often find Chris out riding, or fixing his bikes (even in the winter), or making something delicious in the kitchen.
